Clinical Dermatology Review, a publication of Indian Association of Dermatologist, Venereologist and Leprologists (IADVL) Karnataka Branch, is a peer-reviewed online journal with Semiannual print on demand compilation of issues published. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. The Indian Association of Dermatologists Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) came into existence on the 28th of January 1973 at Udaipur with the merger of the Indian association of dermatologists and Venereologists (IADV) and the dermatological society of India (DSI). On the 15th of June 1973, at Madras, the combined Karnataka-Tamil Nadu branch of IADVL was inaugurated. Since the members were started increasing in numbers both state office bearers have decided to form separate state branches. On August 2009, IADVL Karnataka Branch came into existence. Currently there are around 900 life members. IADVL KN actively participates in all the activities launched by IADVL and has been awarded Best Branch by IADVL several times.
