Indian Journal of Orthopaedics - Publication Fee The Indian Journal of Orthopaedics (IJO) (ISSN 0019-5413) is an official peer-reviewed, open access publication of the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and is published on Bi-monthly basis in first week of January, March, May, July, September & November. The journal, first published on June 1, 1967, now reaches to over 9000 members of IOA, making it amongst the most read surgical speciality journals in India and South-East Asia. This is an online manuscript processing system which allows submission of articles with tracking of its progress till proof stage. There is no submission and publication fee in Indian Journal of Orthopaedics (IJO). It’s free of cost. This is a non-profit journal. This process is simple and self-explanatory two stage process. The decision on manuscripts is taken purely on the quality and relevance of the work. The Editor reserves the right to reject the manuscript. Authors have to certify that they have obtained all appropriate patient consent forms before submission of manuscript to IJO. The author will be held responsible for any false statement with regard to the ethical approval of the study and patient informed consent prior to inclusion in the study.
